So as you all know, today was Valentines Day. In my opinion it was just another day. Most people think Valentines day is about getting your "valentine" roses or chocolates and expressing your love for them. But what if you don't have a "valentine"? Well, I have an answer for that. Like my step dad said, "You don't have to do something very sweet for your wife lets say. Why don't you show love to someone without a wife or a husband?" Don't get me wrong, of course doing something nice for your loved one would be just fine but why not show love to a single maybe less happy person?
About two years ago today, a very unfortunate event in my life started reveling itself. It changed my families life for ever. But I God is in my life and he makes everything happen for a reason. I am now stronger because of what happened to me. And I know that everything will be OK.
Today at school I saw almost everyone with their valentines day gift from there special someone. Did i get any gift from anyone? No. Do I really need anything from anyone? No. Dose it bother me that i didn't? No. I know that God loves me, and my family loves me and that is all that matters.
So what I'm getting at is that you don't need a "valentine" to feel loved. You don't need valentines day to feel loved either. You have God, and family. That's all you need. :) <3
You are growing into a strong little woman. I am very proud of you and all that you have and I know that you will become. Karlee as you now know bad things happen to good people. You have shown that you have a strong faith in God and that in itself will get you through the hard times. You also have a family that loves you very much ! Keep your head on straight and keep looking up and forward !
